How long does it take to see analytics after installing the script?

Crux begins streaming sessions within minutes of detecting the snippet. Heatmaps and funnels appear once we record at least 50 sessions for a page. AI UX audits are available as soon as you trigger them from the Pages tab.

If you don’t see data after an hour, verify the snippet fires (window.cruxQueue) and that ad blockers aren’t stripping network requests.

What happens when I upgrade or downgrade my plan?

Crux prorates the difference automatically. Upgrades unlock new quotas instantly; downgrades retain existing data but future usage is capped at the new allowance. We never delete historical insights when you change plans.

How does Crux handle sensitive data?

Enable Privacy Mode in Workspace → Settings to mask form fields, search queries, or any DOM element via CSS selectors. Session Replay honours these settings in real time.

Can I control how the AI prioritises UX issues?

Yes. Adjust severity thresholds and impact scoring weights under AI Settings → UX audits. You can bias the model toward checkout issues, account flows, or accessibility standards.
